Cex.io has submited a press Relesase about Bitcoin Split Inside of the Exchange, what does this exactly means?

-Does it mean that we will have the same amount of BTC y both chains after the Hard Fork?
-Does it mean that we are gonna be able to choose the amount of BTC and BTCU that we want to have?

Please someone enlighten us if you have a clear idea on the matter.
